What is Pragmora?
Pragmora is a new international peace organisation. It is both a grassroots advocacy organisation and a policy think tank. We work with individuals and groups in all corners of the world to advocate pragmatic measures to resolve conflicts.
What makes Pragmora so unique?
- Pragmora collaborates with recognized policy experts to put realistic nonviolent solutions into the hands of grassroots peace activists around the world.
- We take a very practical approach to planning peace.
- Our scope is global. We do not focus on just one conflict or region.
- Pragmora addresses potential conflicts in unstable regions and the need for stable peace in post-conflict zones, as well as ongoing wars.
It's about creating a world that persistently seeks alternatives to armed conflict and diligently plans for stable peace. A world freed from war. This can be done and we're in it for the long haul to make the transformation happen.

Every dollar donated directly contributes to implementing Pragmora's mission and to building the new peace movement of our time. Much of the work is done by Pragmora volunteers.

Is Pragmora a charity?
No, Pragmora is an incorporated non-profit organisation registered in Canada. The work of Pragmora is focussed squarely on advocacy. Registered charities in Canada may spend no more then 5% of their resources on advocacy work.
Where does Pragmora's funding come from?
Pragmora is financed by donations, sale of PeaceWear products, and fundraising events.
Who are we?
Pragmora members and volunteers are ordinary people who come from all walks of life and diverse communities around the world. What we have in common is the desire to insist that our governments actively seek pragmatic, non-biased, non-violent alternatives to war and armed conflict.
